LEE SEUNGMAN
Lee Seungman (Korean: 이승만 pronounced [iː sʰɯŋ.man]; April 18, 1875 – July 19, 1965) was a Korean statesman and the first president of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea as well as the first president of South Korea. His three-term presidency of South Korea (August 1948 to April 1960)
Seungman was regarded as an anti-Communist and a strongman, and he led South Korea through the Korean War. His presidency ended in resignation following popular protests against a disputed election. It is called 4-19 revolution. He died in Hawaii Honolulu
When Lee seungman was back from USA after world warII. He starts raise his power and finally he elected Korean first president but in the North Korea Kim Ilseong create North Korea in communism, but Seungman create Korea republic as a president in democracy. In June 25th 1950 North Korea declare the Korean war, and in 1953 and both leaders decided truce. 
Lee Seungman was born on April 18, 1875; his birthday is also stated as March 26, the lunar date, and April 26. Rhee was born in the Hwanghae province, and when he was age of 2 his family moved to seoul. In Seoul, he had traditional Confucianism education in seodang(Korean traditional school), he took a gwageo(the Korean civil service examination) but he failed. When he was 17 years old he started to attend Baejae school an American Methodist school, in the Baejae school he studied English and shinhakmoon(literally new subject. He converted to Christianity in school. In 1895, he graduated from Baejae School.
